How to use CPQ dynamic ending
Sometimes, situations arise where a sale cannot be completed through the CPQ system, and instead, the outcome must be converted from a purchase to a request for a quote (RFQ). This guide will walk you through how this feature works within HeadQ.
The dynamic ending is always defined through CPQ's next proposed action. The dynamic ending always transitions from purchasing to a request for a quote (RFQ). An RFQ cannot be changed to a purchase. In an RFQ, you can configure the price display as usual, allowing you to decide how the price is presented. When purchasing, the exact price is always shown. How to set up Dynamic Ending
1. Activate "Next proposed action" in CPQ.

2. Select "Dynamic" in the "Next proposed action" menu from the menu that opens on the right.
3. Click "Add new action."

4. Choose one of the following: Check out, Request for a quote, or Do not sell.
5. Create rules for when the specific condition is met, such as Request for a quote. Note that if you want multiple conditions, repeat this step.
6. Finally, create the desired outcome if the conditions are unmet.

Important note
Rules are always processed from top to bottom, meaning the system evaluates them in order. Therefore, remember to place the rule for when to sell or not sell at the end.
